Cost effective lignin‑based carbon fibres for innovative light‑weight applications

Ecocomp 2019

19th Jun 2019, Coventry, UK

Environmental awareness has stimulated an increased interest in sustainable materials and issues such as recyclability and environmental responsibility are becoming ever more important. Composite materials and products need to play their part in addressing these concerns as environmental legislation and consumer demand is increasing the pressure on manufacturers and designers to consider the impact of their products at all stages of their life cycle.

This conference, configured to reflect the complete life cycle of composite products, attracts an audience of OEMs, end-users, composite material manufacturers and suppliers, designers, academics and researchers.

In addition to the ‘Environmental Imperative’, sessions will include each step in the cycle:

  • Raw Materials
  • Intermediate Materials
  • Design
  • Manufacture
  • Recycling & End of Life
