GreenLight Project, to develop lignin-based carbon fibres, has entered upscaling phase
The GreenLight project, who’s objective is to develop green and cost-efficient carbon fibres from lignin, a by-product of paper pulp mills, has now entered the upscaling phase of the project. GreenLight has successfully produced lignin-based carbon fibres at the laboratory scale and will soon produce a large batch of lignin in the LignoCity LignoBoost demonstration facility in Bäckhammar, Sweden.
